Life Beyond Death I, II, III, and IV

Picture
In-depth explorations about death and the afterlife, including personal beliefs and expectations.

Participants in the Life Beyond Death groups engage in experiential exercises and discussions that clarify their personal relationship with and perspectives about death and the afterlife.

Beginning with a survey of current research about death, dying, and the afterlife, this group addresses pre-death visions, near-death experiences, shared death experiences, profound spiritual experiences with the beyond, reincarnation, and past and future lives. Readings include works by Eben Alexander, MD; Anita Moorjani, Raymond Moody, MD; Maggie Callanan RN, Michael Newton, PhD; Katy Butler, Brian Weiss, MD; David Kessler, Elisabeth Kubler-Ross, MD; and others.

The Life Beyond Death (LBD) groups are offered in succession, and build upon each other.  There are eight LBD meetings per session, with consecutive sessions offered several times throughout the year.  In the LBD groups, you’ll experience:
  •  A greater understanding of death as a profound psycho-spiritual experience, not merely the cessation of bodily functions
  •  A deep exploration and integration of your own views and feelings about death and the afterlife
  •  An increased capacity to be present for loved ones and friends who are facing death
  •  An enhanced acceptance and sense of peace about the inevitability of death

  This program is appropriate for:
  •  Individuals curious about the end of life and what may come after
  •  Therapists and Bereavement Counselors
  •  Hospice workers, End-of-life care workers, RN’s and CNA’s
  •  Chaplains
  •  Healthcare advocates
  •  Spiritual seekers

CEU’s available for MFT’s and LCSW’s, and for RN's and RVN's.
