This workshop is for anyone. It will provide a unique opportunity to discuss with like mind people the sensitive yet fascinating topic of end of life.

Death is the common destiny we share with all human, indeed all living, beings. Yet it is also the one topic that is taboo to discuss. In an era when modern medicine can prolong human life it seems many postpone the necessary exploration and dialog that would prepare them for end of life.

This 8-week workshop is indeed radical as it examines the most common ways that people die - the inherent, yet largely untapped, gifts in the different end-of-life pathways, and the best practices to prepare for and harvest these hidden end-of-life treasures.

Preparing for the Great Unknown will include an exploration of the many shared crossings (spiritual end-of-life experiences) that naturally occur, plus the ways to cultivate and recognize them. It will feature a dynamic mix of lecture from William Peters, presentations from local end-of-life experts, experiential exercises (eg. guided visualizations), and small and large group discussions.

Participants will learn from each other as we share our personal stories, heal from our losses, and together become more compassionate and wiser about end of life.
